Ivory Bennett is the program manager for Youth Voices Rising at Fostering Media Connections. Raised in the foster care system across urban and rural landscapes, Bennett’s resilience shines through 17 years, 10 homes and 12 schools. She earned a dual bachelor's degree in Africana studies and English literature, and a master's degree in education administration. She is a fierce advocate for foster care and education equity. Her dedication to holistic well-being is rooted in personal experience with Type 1 diabetes.
