Dear Reader,

We’re all feeling the pinch of the COVID economy right now. Here at Fostering Families Today, we feel it on a personal level every time we check out at the grocery store, and we feel it professionally when we get a notice from our printer saying the cost of paper and postage is going up another 15%.

As a parent raising kids who have experienced trauma, you face difficult choices every day. We hope Fostering Families Today helps you make informed decisions and find your inspiration so you can keep giving the kids in your care what they need.

Even with our rising costs, we really don’t want to charge more for Fostering Families Today because we don’t want the price to prevent families from getting the support they need. So we’re here asking you to pitch in, if you can.

Your donation of just $10 helps us pay our writers and editors, print and ship copies of our magazine, and cover operational costs that foundation grants often don’t. Plus your donation is tax-deductible.

Yes, I’ll Give What I Can

If donating just isn’t an option for you, but you’d like to help out, you can share our social media posts on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 30, and encourage your friends to support nonprofit media. Follow us on Facebook here.

With gratitude,

PS – If everyone reading this pitched in just $5, we would raise enough money to pay our contributing writers, many of whom are caregivers like yourselves, or former foster youth, for a whole year of articles. Every dollar counts. You can donate here.
